Video: Cardstock Scraps and Second Generation Stamping

Good morning and Happy Monday! Jess here with a simple and easy way to create a unique card design with endless customization options!

Watch the video below to see the full process or click  HERE  to watch on YouTube.

To start I stamped the floral arrangement from Sweet as Honey onto a panel of Deluxe Smooth White  cardstock using  Navy  ink. I inked the stamp and stamped it first on a piece of scrap paper and then a second time on my white cardstock panel to get a softer, second generation stamping image. Then I used three strips of Mist , Paradise , and Nautical  cardstock scraps and adhered them to my white panel. I stamped the image a second time again using generation stamping with Navy ink. I like how the pattern continues along the colored cardstock strips!

Next I stamped the sentiments from Special Thank You with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat-embossed it with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder .  I stamped the cute row of little hearts between the sentiments with Navy ink to tie the colors together a bit.  Special Thank You has lots of sentiments to thank a variety of people: friends, family members, community heroes, etc. and you can customize images and cardstock or ink colors to create cards for lots of different occasions. I gave one example here but the sky's truly the limit on the ways you could use this design!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
