Ombré Inking with Layering Stamps

Hi crafty friends! It's Jeannie, and today I'm sharing a fun ombré and summery card with a bold sentiment.

To create this card, I first started off using the June Stamp and Cut of the month. This is a super cute and simple layering set featuring seashells. I started off with a piece of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. I used a base of colors featuring Butter Bar, Papaya, and Ultra Pink Core Ink by arranging the solid images on my card base. To help with the blending between the different colors, I used a Blending Brush

Then, I went and added the second layer of the seashells which have the details with an ink color a little darker using the same ombré stamping technique. For the details, I used Spicy Mustard, Papaya and Crimson

Now onto the sentiment! I do love the BONUS Stamp & Cut that comes with the Whole Studio Subscription. They have bold and supporting sentiments that work with any card that you will create with this month's Hero Studio items.

I pulled out a piece of Mustard cardstock and arranged the bold sentiment along with a supporting sentiment on the left hand side. I used the same ombré stamping technique with Crimson and Papaya. Once I was done with that, I trimmed down my main panel with the layered seashells and added it on top of the card panel with the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed the summery vibes of this card and can use this card as inspiration to incorporate ombré into your crafting!
