Northern Winter Cover Plate

Good morning everyone. It's Dana here with you today. I am woking on my holiday cards and finding simple yet beautiful ways to make them.

My card features the beautiful Northern Winter Cover Plate. Oh my this cover plate is stunning! The details you see in this die are unmatched to other dies I have used. Let's get into how this card came together.

Starting with a piece of Dove White cardstock, I sponged on several shades of blue ink going from my darkest shade to my lightest. Once the sponging was complete, I ran this piece with the die through my die cutting machine.

I generously spritzed this panel with White Iridescent Shimmer Spray. While this piece dried, I die cut the cover plate again with white fun foam. Layering the colorful panel onto of the fun foam gave me beautiful dimension.

Next I stamped a sentiment from the My Monthly Hero October 2020 Kit onto a white card base in Pool ink from Hero Arts. I also stamped out a few deer from the kit and placed them on opposite sides of my sentiment.

I hope you are inspired to create beautiful cards using the Northern Winter Cover Plate. It absolutely is a beautiful die to work with.

Note: Although it is temporarily sold out, Hero Arts expects this die to be back in the shop within two weeks. You can sign up right on the product page to be notified by email as soon as it's back in stock!

Have a great day everyone,
