New Creative Team Member – May Sukyong Park!

We are so excited to share some happy news with you today! We have added a fantastic new designer to our Creative Team. We're beyond thrilled to introduce you to the very sweet and incredibly talented, May Sukyong Park!

Hello! My name is May Sukyong Park, and I’m so honored to part of the Hero Arts Creative Team. I was born and raised in South Korea and moved to California with my husband in 2009. I’ve done my Bachelors in Sociology and Journalism in Seoul, South Korea. I had not enjoyed any arts and crafts until I was first introduced to stamping by my friend in 2010. Card making became my biggest hobby where I found my passion when I started blogging in 2012. I published my first book called "Hello, Handmade Card" last year! I’m currently going to Adult school, Monday through Friday, to improve my English skills. When I’m not studying or making cards, I’m either Instagramming, swimming in the sunshine, working out at the gym, taking photos of my two adorable cats, designing stamps, or talking with my hubby all night. You can find my creations on my blog: Mayholic in Crafts and connect with me on the following sites: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Flickr.

May created a wonderfully fun and funky card for her introduction to the Hero Arts blog. We love how she combined the hero_product_link sku="S6144" text="Wave Pattern Background"] with the hero_product_link sku="CL945" text="Color Layering Goldfish"] stamp set. Here's more from May:

Hi it's May here sharing a fun card using ombre background with simple color layering technique. I wanted to create some inspiring scene with two fearless fishes exploring the sea. You can find more details and supplies I used to create this card HERE on my blog. Or you can watch a video tutorial to learn how to make the card HERE. I'm so honored to join the Hero Arts Creative Team and can't wait to share more projects with you..
