Mixed Metallic Embossing Powder

Good morning! Jess here with a fun way to add some sparkle to your cards!

To start I placed the new Abstract Expressionist Bold Prints stamp on the lid of my MISTI and inked it up with Embossing & Watermark ink. Then I stamped it onto a panel of Pitch Black cardstock. I held the cardstock over a piece of scrap paper and then sprinkled the top with Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder fading towards the center and tapped off the excess. I carefully poured it back into the container and then sprinkled the middle with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder and tapped off the excess. While the ink was still wet I sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder over the entire panel to fill in any gaps and then heat-embossed it. It's hard to see in the photo but the way the metallics mix and fade into each other is really cool!

I trimmed the black panel down to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered it to a Top Folding Dove White card base. Next I stamped the sentiment from Creative Quotes onto Dove White cardstock with Embossing & Watermark ink and heat-embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. I trimmed it down to a thin label and adhered it to the panel with foam mounting tape to finish the card!  It's simple but the metallic embossing powder is quite striking when it catches the light!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
