Little Duckie, You’re the One…

I’ve needed lots of cheer up cards lately, so the Fun in the Rain add-on stamp set has really helped out. It was one of the optional add-ons released with the February My Monthly Hero Kit. (Note: Fun in the Rain is currently out of stock, but look for it to return to the store soon!) I stamped all of the items in black on bright card stock, then die cut them with the matching dies.

Then I scattered the umbrellas in a pleasing fashion around the duck. I cut a duck in both orange and yellow to get his boots, and paper pieced them together. A little slit in his feather allowed him to “hold” the umbrella. Add dots for a little contrast on one umbrella with a black pen. For a little cheeky laughter, add a googlie eye!

Thanks for stopping by today!
