Layers of Love with Looking Glass Dies

Hey everyone. It's Dana here with you today. I'm sharing a card using the Looking Glass Girl With Balloon die set. This set is so pretty and makes a wonderful layered look for your cards.

For my card I used I started by die cutting the three layers. The first layer was die cut from Cherry cardstock. The second layer was die cut from the gold glitter cardstock in the Holiday Sparkle pack and the moon was die cut from Pebble cardstock.

Now it was time to build up the card. I trimmed down a piece of Pitch Black cardstock for the backdrop for my dies. I adhered the first two layers together using Precision Glue. Next I adhered these pieces to the Pitch Black cardstock making sure not to add any glue behind the trees and girl yet. For the moon I added a little bit of texture using a gray alcohol marker before tucking it behind the girl and trees. Now I could glue the trees and girl down firmly over the moon.
At this point I stamped out a sentiment from the August 2021 My Monthly Hero Kit in Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink before I heat set it with Gold Embossing Powder. I adhered this panel to a card base made from Dove White cardstock and finished it off with faux stitching using a white gelly roll pen.

I hope I have inspired you to create a card using the Looking Glass Girl With Balloon die set. It's a perfect way to create easy yet stunningly beautiful cards.  Have a great day everyone.
