June My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #8 + Giveaway!

MMH Countdown to Creativity

This is our final countdown post before the launch of our My Monthly Hero kit tomorrow, June 6, at 1pm eastern/10 am pacific! We hope you've enjoyed all of the inspiration shared by our Creative Team this weekend! Be sure to leave a comment on each and every Countdown to Creativity post - we'll be announcing the winner of a kit tomorrow morning, before the kit launches. And we'll be back at launch time, hopping with an amazing list of artists and sharing even more inspiration with this month's kit! Now let's join Mariana for one more Countdown idea...

This month's kit is just right for the traveling season that has already started. The kit includes lots of stamp images, several die cut frames, along with other fantastic products. All of them can easily be used to create cards or tags, not to mention document your next trip.  Today I am sharing a card that I created using some of the items included in the kit:

I created the background of this card using many of the tiny dies along with hero_product_link sku="661149" text="Sizzix tan paper leather"]. After I die cut the images, I kept them in place by putting adhesive tape underneath the panel.  Then, I adhered the panel over a card base.

I created a focal point by stamping the sentiment over a hero_product_link sku="PS610" text="Snow Layering Paper"] rectangle, and I complemented it with three shapes in coordinated colors. I finished off the card with some enamel dots, the airmail twine included in the kit, and a couple of staples.

Thanks for joining me, be sure to come back for more amazing inspiration when the kit is launched at 1pm eastern/10am pacific, tomorrow!
