June My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #3 + Giveaway!

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the countdown to the release of the June My Monthly Hero Kit! Release day is Monday, June 4th at 1pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. Join us as we continue sharing ideas for using both the main kit, as well as the new optional add-on products that will also be available on Monday. Now let's join Amy who is sharing another peek into this fun beach vacation-inspired kit.

Hello Hero Arts fans, are you enjoying the June Countdown to Creativity posts so far? This kit filled with beachy fun and I'm a fan of all things beach themed/nautical. All images used for this project are from the main kit. I decided to go clean and simple with today's project:

I used a panel from the Sea Mix Layering Papers. It has been cut with one of the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies. Let's chat about the ocean, I inked it up with Indigo Bold Ink + Deep Ocean Bold Ink.

I love silhouette images and couldn't wait to ink up that sweet mermaid. The mermaid and boulder that she's perched on have been stamped with Intense Black.

Isn't the sentiment wonderful? I'm a big fan of mixed font sentiments. The circle panel has been adhered to the card base with foam dimensionals.

I love to add subtle details on my designs. Do you spy the clear embossed birds?  They might not be initially spotted but it adds some wonderful texture to the small canvas. I added some black twine to finish off my card.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post!  We'll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all the countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, June 4th, before the kit launches at 1pm Eastern time. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Good luck!
