June My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #3 + Giveaway!

We are back with another look at the June My Monthly Hero release! The kit will be available on Monday, June 5th at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We’ll be sharing ideas for using the main kit and the optional add-on products all weekend long, so stay tuned for more inspiration! Now let’s join Michelle who is sharing another look at the fabulous kit, available on Monday!

Good morning! Michelle here I am delighted to be sharing a tag I have made with the 6×8″ main stamp set from the kit. I absolutely love this kit, it is another one of those kits that is perfect for lots of different occasions. With the animals being silhouettes, of course a sunset popped in to my mind straight away!

I started off by cutting one of the Tag Infinity Dies from white cardstock. With a blending tool, I added Dandelion Bold Ink to the bottom portion of the tag, I then blended this upwards using Tangerine Bold Ink. To finish off, I added a small amount of Crimson Bold Ink to the top of the tag for the sunset look.

Using the smaller of the animals in the stamp set, I stamped the grass first at the bottom of the tag, followed by the tree. Since the tree wasn’t quite as tall as I needed it to be, I extended the tree stump with a black pen. I then stamped the stone/dirt mound, followed by the meerkat and then the elephant. I then added some birds in the sky. I wanted it to look like the elephant and the meerkat were friends so I added in the sentiment from the Color Layering Graphic Flowers set as I thought it would be perfect for this scene. I then simply threaded some black and white bakers twine through the top of the tag.

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts, and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, June 5th, before the kit launches at 1pm eastern. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Good luck!
