Hope To Sea You Soon

Hello there, Michelle here with a card using the new Hero Lifestyle Mermaid dies. These work with the Hero Lifestyle Forms Fancy Dies to create merpeople. I created a mermaid today but you could create a merman too!

I started off my card by creating the mermaid. I die cut the body from the Hero Lifestyle Forms Fancy Dies using Antique Ivory Cardstock (cutting off the legs to fit behind the tail). I then took the Hero Lifestyle Mermaid and cut the hair from Sand Cardstock, the shell bra from Lavender Cardstock and tail from Mist Cardstock. I then took inks and added blending on to each part. I kept the skin quite light with Soft Vanilla Shadow Ink to look like mine, I also used brown hair with Root Beer Reactive Ink but I think her would look great being red, pink or purple!

For the tail, I added blending with Pool Party Reactive Ink, as well as Blue Raspberry Reactive Ink. I then spritzed it with White Iridescent Shimmer Mist. For the shell bra, I added on Purple Galaxy Reactive Ink and also used the shimmer spray on that too. I stamped the face on the mermaid from the Hero Lifestyle Faces set and then adhered everything together with Precision Glue

For the background, I used the same inks that I used on the mermaid - Pool Party, Blue Raspberry, Blue Hawaii and Purple Galaxy Reactive Inks. I then stamped the seaweed from the Color Layering Abalone set at the bottom with Purple Galaxy. I splattered on water and shimmer spray. The card was added to a top folding card base with foam tape and the mermaid added on top with more foam tape. The sentiment, from the Color Layering Abalone set was stamped on to Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder. To finish off, I added Clear Enamel Dots

Thank you so much for stopping by today, happy crafting!
