Heart Tree 2-for-1 Cards

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Today I am sharing two cards using the new Heart Tree Stamp & Cut set, which was released as an add-on to the May MMH kit this month.

To make the first card (I used the leftovers from the first card to make the second one) start with a piece of Dove White cardstock. Use the following Reactive Inks to ink blend the background: Grape Slush, Berry Smoothie, Taffy,Creamsicle and Lemon Drop.

Once you have ink blended the background, splatter some water and let it dry. Die cut the hearts (save the die cut hearts for your second card), then stamp the tree using your MISTI and Intensi-fied Black ink. Trim the panel down to 3 3/4" x 5". Adhere white glitter paper behind the tree hearts. Adhere the entire panel to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Pitch Black cardstock and then to a top folded Dove White note card

Stamp sentiment (you may want to stamp the sentiments for both cards) on Pitch Black cardstock and emboss in white. Adhere sentiment to card.

For the second card, die cut the hearts die from a piece of Dove White cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Stamp the tree using Intens-ified Black ink. Adhere to another piece of Dove White cardstock that is the same size. Adhere the ink blended die cut hearts from the first card in the die cut slots. Adhere the sentiment and assemble your card onto a top folding Pitch Black note card that you can make from a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock scored at 5 1/2".

Thank you for stopping by today!
