Happy Holidays Mini Slimline with Foiling

Hello there, Michelle here with a card using the Stacked Happy Holidays Foil & Cut. This foil plate really gives a big impact on a card, and I love that there is a coordinating die to cut it out too!

I started off my card by foiling the Stacked Happy Holidays Foil Plate on to white cardstock using Silver Foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System. Since this is a large plate with solid letters, I did an an extra shim whilst foiling.

It was then die cut out using the coordinating Frame Cut and the Compact Cutter and set aside while I worked on my background.

I took a panel of Peony cardstock and added ink blending around the edges. I used Azalea and Raspberry Jam Core Inks with Extra Large Ink Blending Brushes

I placed the Sprinkled Dots Stencil on top and using the Hero Tools Palette Knife, spread a layer of Glitter Hero Paste over the top. Since my panel is 6 1/4" long, I did have to do this in two sections, but the paste dries quickly, so doesn't take too long to do!

Once the panel was dry, it was adhered to a white mini slimline card base (6 1/4" x 3 1/2"). The Stacked Happy Holidays was then adhered on top with foam tape.

To finish off, I die cut three of the smallest Nesting Hearts Infinity Die from Azalea cardstock and stacked them one on top of another on the "L" with Precision Glue

I think the silver foil looks stunning against the pink! The only downside to foiling is that I find it difficult to photograph. It looks so much better in real life! Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a lovely day!
