Color Layering Charts: Lily Pad + City HeroScapes

With the addition of some amazing new HeroScape and Color Layering sets to our 2021 Spring Catalog, I thought it would be fun to share some color combos that work great with the images!

First up is the Lily Pond HeroScape stamp set. For each example, the inks are listed in the order that they are stamped.

And next is the City HeroScape. This skyline can be stamped in just about any color combination and it turns out so fun!

Here are some other technique ideas for our HeroScape and Color Layering stamps:

  • Use Ombré inks for some of the layers. They work especially well with solid images, like the water on the Lily Pond HeroScape.
  • Use Unicorn Pigment Ink for one of the layers. I can envision this with the City HeroScape on dark colored cardstock!
  • Heat emboss the top stamped layer to add some shine.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for more color inspiration and a FREE download!
