Coastal Blooms: A Serene Landscape Card Design

Hello! Jen Kotas here today to show you how to use the Coastal Blooms Heroscape Stamp and Cut to create a stunning seaside scene on a landscape card. 

• Stamp the main image from the Coastal Blooms Heroscape Stamp and Cut with a variety of ink colors on Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock. I used Peony, Azalea, Fresh Lawn, Pine, Granite and Charcoal Core Inks. Cut out with coordinating die.
• Create background using Color Layering Harbor Stencils using Sand Core Ink for the beach, Mist and Paradise Core Ink for the water and Dusty Blue and Cornflower Core Inks for the sky on Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock. I skipped the boats.
• Die cut the second largest Scallop Rectangles Infinity Dies from Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock at the same time as a slightly smaller Nesting Rectangle Infinity Dies. This will create the pretty scalloped border frame!

• Adhere frame over stamped image with liquid glue. This gives you the chance to adjust the frame to where you want it. Cut off anything that hangs outside of the frame. 
• Add thin foam squares to back of image and frame then place over stenciled background. You may want to add liquid glue over foam squares for some wiggle room to get things lined up. Cut off overhang. 
• Stamp an A2 card base with the Burlap Bold Prints Cling Stamp using Peony Core Ink. Adhere framed image to card. 
• Stamp sentiment from Summer Bouquet Stamp and Cut. Cut out with coordinating die then cut out two more “blanks”. Adhere together then to card. 

Creating frames with the Scallop Rectangles Infinity Dies and Nesting Rectangle Infinity Dies is one of my favorite techniques. It's a great way to get more creative mileage out of your Infinity Dies!
