Birthday Adventures

Hi everyone! Ilina here! Have had a chance yet to check out the My Monthly Hero Kit for May? The Premium kit is sold out, but the Classic kit is still available, so you have a chance to grab yours before it sells out!

I am loving the color layering bikes in the stamp set, it does remind me of my childhood, so had to use one of them on my card I am sharing today.

To make the card start by stamping the bike using Pool Party Reactive ink and Charcoal Core ink. Once stamped, die cut it using the coordinating die. Next stamp the crate, balloon and flower fillers using Granite, Soft Blossom and Sand Core inks. Die cut using the coordinating dies. Die cut clouds from Deluxe Smooth White cardstock (just the die, no stamps). Set aside the die cut elements, while working on the rest of the card.

Cut a piece of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock to 4"x 5 1/4". Stamp the grass about 1-1 1/2" from the bottom using Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple Reactive inks. Using the stencil from the kit, blend Butter Bar ink in the space above the grass.

Stamp the sentiment on the white space below the grass using Intensi-fied Black ink. Set the panel aside.

Using colored pencils, add details and shading to the bike and the accessories.

Now you can start assembling the card. Using foam squares (or tape), adhere the bike, the accessories and then the clouds.

Cut a piece of the glitter paper that is included in the kit to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (A2 size) and adhere it to a Top Folded Dove White Card. Using foam tape or craft foam (or even few pieces of scrap cardstock adhered together), adhere the assembled panel to the notecard to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you have an amazing day!
