Today we're delighted to have Creative Team member Jayne Nelson  here to share some fabulous "beyond the kit" ideas for a few of the add-ons.

My first card features the absolutely gorgeous Heart Flourish Cover Plate . After cutting a card-sized panel of Passion Flower cardstock, I used a blending brush to apply Purple Galaxy , Grape Slush , and Berry Smoothie  Reactive inks to the cardstock, blending the darkest ink along the edges and the lighter ink at the panel’s center. Then, I used the Heart Flourish Cover Plate to die-cut the intricate heart design from the inked panel. I secured the panel to a Dove White card base with Precision Glue .

Next, I added several sentiments to the card. First, I selected a Love sentiment from the Hugs and Kisses Rub-On Transfer Sheet . I simply positioned the sentiment over the heart and then rubbed over it with a craft stick to transfer it to the card. I also added a pair of sentiments from the new Loving Sentiment Strips set that I stamped with Intens-ified Black ink and die-cut with the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die . To finish the card, I added a single Purple Enamel Dot .

My second card features the beautiful Stripe Stencil . To create the inked-blended, striped background panel, I applied Blue Hawaii , Grape Slush, Berry Smoothie, and Taffy ink over the Stripe Stencil onto a piece of white cardstock and then secured the panel to a Passion Flower card with foam tape.

Next, I stamped and die-cut a sentiment from the You’re Mine Bundle with Berry Smoothie ink, secured it to a pair of white and vellum circles that I cut with the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies , and then secured the sentiment panel to the card with foam tape. I also used the Love and Floral Fancy Dies to cut a collection of small flowers that I inked with the same background ink colors, plus some Key Lime Fizz ink for the leaves. After gluing the flowers to the card around the sentiment, I added a few Purple Enamel Dots .
