We’re back for another countdown post, leading up to the release of the April My Monthly Hero kit! Release day is Monday, April 3rd at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We’ll be here all weekend long, sharing ideas for using both the main kit, as well as new optional add-on products that will be available on Monday. And don’t forget to comment on each and every post as we’ll be giving away a kit on Monday morning, before the kit launches! Here’s Libby with another look at the new kit.
This month’s My Monthly Hero kit is very glamorous and girlie! While I absolutely love pink tutus and pearls, I wanted to show how you can tone down the girliness just a touch by using earth tones on the images.
I stamped one of the dresses included in the kit multiple times, then colored with watercolors. I love that little hanger in the kit, isn’t it adorable? And I say you can still be perfectly glamorous in a green dress!
This next card focuses on one teeny tiny element in the kit, a sweet little feather. I stamped it repeatedly and then watercolored it, again with the same earth tones. A very quick and simple card, but I love this look.
