April 2021 My Monthly Hero is Here: Blog Hop + Giveaway!

We're excited to put our own spin on stencil layering with the April My Monthly Hero kit. You can use the trio of geometric pattern stencils to create countless unique kaleidoscope-inspired designs by layering and rotating them at any angle. We've included three ink cubes to get your creative juices flowing, as well as one of our new blending brushes. Finish your project with the stamps and dies included in the kit, drawn in a style to wonderfully complement the stencils.

This month’s kit includes:

• 6” x 8” Clear Stamp Set
• 16 Coordinating Frame Cuts
• 3 Geometric Rotating Stencils
• 3 Ink Cubes (Tangerine, Grape Juice, Raspberry Jam)
• 1 Ink Blending Brush

Want to see the kit in action? Mindy has created a video to help walk you through the elements of the kit, and shares a card featuring some of the products.

(Having trouble viewing this video? View it on YouTube HERE .)

This kit is valued at $83, but is an incredible deal at $34.99. It is available in limited quantities – grab yours before they are gone!

Inspired by the geometric, graphic style of the kit, we've created several add-on products this month.

First let's take a look at the 4x6 clear sets. You Lift Me Up  with coordinating You Lift Me Up Frame Cuts has elements to create a fun outdoor scene.

Create a bold and playful underwater scene with Graphic Reef and Graphic Reef Frame Cuts . And note the messages - lots of fun puns in this one!

Line Art Flowers has florals that are fun and easy to color as well as elements to build a pattern. There are Frame Cuts for this one, too.

Bug You and Bug You Frame Cuts celebrate some of the most under-appreciated members of the natural world. A praying mantis stamp? Yes please!

Next let's look at the two new 6x6 red rubber background stamps in this release.  Circles and Cylinders Bold Prints is cool, modern geometric design.

And Forest Shapes Bold Prints is lots of fun to color, but also looks fantastic embossed on cardstock. Tip: try white embossing on black!

There are two new standalone dies in this collection.  Soft Landscape Window Fancy Die  creates a scenic opening in your card front.

And  Geometric Sun Cover Plate has a unique design that really makes a statement on your card front.

We have a new stencil this month -  Flowy Stripes Stencil . This simple design can be used just as it looks. But try rotating the stencil for extra-fun designs!

Rounding out this release are two woodblock stamps in classic script fonts - Handwritten Father's Day and Handwritten Mother's Day .

Libby created an overview video that runs through the release, including card samples and ideas. View it on YouTube HERE or watch below:
