Vivid Flowers Cards

Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I'm thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again! I’m thrilled to share my cards featuring the Vivid Collection. I always enjoy creating flowers and butterflies, and this collection is fantastic! If you'd like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials.

Gray and violet-toned thank you Card

Vivid Flowers Cards, BP-268, S6-250 I apply a white hot foil to Fog-colored card stock using a Vivid Script Sentiments letterpress plate. Vivid Flowers Cards, BP-268, S6-250 I die-cut the leaves and flower stalks on the Rainforest Card Stock. Vivid Flowers Cards, BP-268, S6-250 I die-cut the flowers on the Royal Amethyst card stock, Purple Mist, Beeswax, and black card stock. Vivid Flowers Cards, BP-268, S6-250 Before assembling the flower, I used a blending brush to add shading to the center to create depth, and I finished the card with an opal gem.

Lace Border Background Birthday Card!

Vivid Flowers Cards, S4-1413, S6-250, BP-261 First, cut out the background using the Eyelet Scallop Border die on Lunar Gray cardstock. Vivid Flowers Cards, S4-1413, S6-250, BP-261 I attached the laces to the Graphite card stock to create the background. Vivid Flowers Cards, S4-1413, S6-250, BP-261 Cut out the flowers from the pink sand and dahlia card stock, as well as the sage card stock. I also die-cut the Essential Modern Ovals die from gray card stock. Attach the oval cut to the center and glue the leaves and flower stems underneath oval. Vivid Flowers Cards, S4-1413, S6-250, BP-261 For the sentiments, I foiled the Ideal Moments Press Plates in gold on black card stock and die-cut it with the coordinating die.

Embossed the flowers and Butterflies Card

Vivid Flowers Cards, E3D-126, SES-036, S4-1266 First, I die-cut the coordinating edge die of the Blooming Butterflies 3D embossing folder at an angle on A2-sized indigo cardstock, dividing it into two pieces: the top and bottom sections. Additionally, I embossed the white cardstock with the Diamond Plaid embossing folder Vivid Flowers Cards, E3D-126, SES-036, S4-1266 The cut piece of paper is embossed by aligning it with the shape on the edge of the Blooming Butterflies 3D embossing folder. Vivid Flowers Cards, E3D-126, SES-036, S4-1266 After embossing them, I applied white pigment ink with the blending tool over the flowers to give them more depth. Vivid Flowers Cards, E3D-126, SES-036, S4-1266 I also die-cut the butterflies using the butterfly die from the Blooming Butterflies 3D embossing folder and die set and embossed them with the same folder. I colored the butterflies with a blending tool and added some shading with a Glitter Gel Pen along the edges. The Glitter pens are incredibly easy to use and create a beautiful effect effect. Vivid Flowers Cards, E3D-126, SES-036, S4-1266 I die-cut the word "hugs" from the vivid "script sentiments" dies on white cardstock, using double layers. I also incorporated the sentiment from the Ideal Moments Press Plate and die. I finished the card with gold embellishments. I love this Vivid Expression Collection! I especially adore the Blooming Butterflies 3D embossing folder die set. The Sweeping Script Sentiments Press Plates are simply gorgeous. I hope these cards inspire many of you. Happy crafting! XOXO, Heejung
