Hello crafty friends! It’s
Jung AhSang here, and I am so excited to be returning for another guest post on the Spellbinders blog.

Today, I’m working with some products from the
Stitched Alphabet collection. I absolutely love the stitched products that Spellbinders have in their collection, and having a stitched alphabet is the perfect addition.
Stitched Joy
For my first card, I used the”
j,” “
o,” and “
y” alpha to spell out joy.

First, I die-cut the stitched letters with wildberry cardstock. I also die-cut the outlines of the letters with white cardstock. Next, I used
gold metallic thread to stitch on my letters. Once finished, I foam-mounted the stitched letters on the white outline.

For the background, I used a piece of
pink sand cardstock, and added a little bit of ink blending at the bottom for an ombre pink look. I trimmed the panel using a rectangle die, then used a
diagonal stripes embossing folder to add texture. I adhered the background panel to a white card base with foam tape. I hot foiled the “
you are” sentiment onto black cardstock, trimmed it, and adhered it to the card right above the Joy. Finally, I embellished the card with some die cut white flowers and added gold gems.
Stitched Strong & Fearless Card
For my second card, I used the stitched “
&” as the focal point.

I die cut the “
&” from
cosmic sky cardstock, and the outline with white cardstock. Again, I stitched the & with metallic thread. I adhered the stitched “&” to the white outline with foam tape. Then, I foiled “
you are,” “strong,” and “fearless” on black cardstock, and trimmed them.

For the background, I ink blended 3 blue inks on white cardstock to create an ombre blue background. Like with my first card, I used a rectangle die to trim the panel, and then used a diagonal striped embossing folder. I arranged the “&” and the sentiment strips to the card, then embellished with pink diecut flowers and gold gems.
Stitched Initial Card
For my third card, I used the letter “
a” as an initial.

I die-cut the “
a” from pink sand cardstock and the outline from white cardstock. I stitched the “a” with gold metallic thread, then adhered to the outline with foam tape. I also foiled the “
you are” and “remarkable” sentiments on black cardstock, then trimmed them.

For my background, I wanted to create a little different striped background. I used some Spellbinders cardstock to cut thin strips. I adhered them to a piece of thin printer paper, then used a rectangle die to die cut the stripes in a diagonal. I also die-cut a mat using cosmic sky cardstock. I adhered the “a” and the sentiment strips. To finish off the card, I added white die-cut flowers and gold gems.
