Springtime Colors for the Vivid Expressions Collection
Hello! Jen Kotas here today with three cards featuring the Vivid Expressions Collection. There are four die sets, three BetterPress sets and a 3D Emboss and Cut Folder.
Instead of ink blending on white cardstock, I started with Barely Peach Cardstock for card panels, die cutting and embossing, and Bisque BetterPress Card Panels for letterpress.
Die cut border of Berry Fields Border Etched Dies from a panel of Barely Peach Cardstock. Blend on a darker orange ink lighter towards top. Add to an A2 card base cut from Barely Peach Cardstock.
Die cut pieces from the Vivid Blooms Etched Dies out of Barely Peach Cardstock and blend on various dye inks.
Die cut rim of Berry Fields Border Etched Dies from Barely Peach Cardstock. Blend on orange ink for berries and border die cuts.
Cut sentiment from Vivid Script Sentiments Etched Dies out of Barely Peach Cardstock three times. Blend on orange ink to one set then adhere together.
Impress a sentiment from Sweeping Script Sentiments Press Plates on Bisque BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel. Starting at bottom, blend on orange ink fading towards sentiment. Add to an A2 card base.
Emboss and cut the corner arrangement and butterflies from the Blooming Butterflies 3D Emboss And Cut Folder out of Barely Peach Cardstock. Blend on pink to orange dye inks.
Adhere corner arrangement with thin foam squares and butterflies with liquid glue.
Splatter with shimmer spray and add BetterPress sentiment.
Place smallest Pressed Lace Borders Press Plate and Die Set in center of magnetic BetterPress platform and the other two evenly spaced to one side. Ink with Black BetterPress Ink and run through Platinum 6 Die Cutting Machine with Bisque BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel.
Rotate clear top plate 180 degrees, remove thinnest press plate, and repeat step 1.
Blend on a deep red in at bottom transitioning to light orange at the top.
Die cut the edges of the panel with the coordinating die.
Add panel to an A2 card base cut from Barely Peach Cardstock. Splatter with shimmer spray.
Die cut sentiment from Vivid Script Sentiments Etched Dies out of black glitter cardstock and twice from Onyx Cardstock. Cut shadow from vellum. Adhere together then to card.
