Spotlight Stamping | Tools, Tips & Techniques

Hello, Fun friends! We cannot wait to share with you today. We're hoping that you're going to have some free time to play with your favorite Fun Stampers Journey stamp sets in the coming days. And, we're thinking that you might want to try the Spotlight Stamping technique that Creative Director Kim Kesti shared on our T3 series! Would you like to watch how Kim created these two cards with the Spotlight Stamping technique? You can do so right here ! Let's not delay, lets stamp!

Isn't that just beautiful? Not only are the colors just perfect together? Painting with Liquid Colors provides stunning results. So does that Spotlight Stamping Technique Kim used! This card was the one she created using two pieces of Whip Cream cardstock . The first panel she repeatedly stamped the flower from the Peach Blossom stamp set using the Tin Pail True Color Fusion Ink Pad . Then, on the second panel she stamped the pattern identically using the Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink Pad . She die cut the Black Licorice flowers with the Journey Rectangles die set and adhered that colored in center piece with Foam Squares. Just so pretty!

The pink card is the same idea but with only one cardstock panel!

First Kim stamped with the Tin Pail True Color Fusion Ink Pad , but then went over top with the Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink Pad . Don't worry if you don't get it perfect. Having the stamping a little offset gives a nice shadow effect!] Now, that panel gets die cut with the Journey Rectangles Die Set and popped up with the Foam Squares.

Are you intrigued? If you answered yes you must watch Kim's video ! The technique is a bit more complicated but is definitely worth it. We're sure you'll get the hang of it in no time! In fact, we want to see when you give it a try. So make sure you share with us when you do, okay?
