Spellbinders 2022 Crafty Advent Calendar Inspiration Round-Up

Hello sweet friends! Did you see our Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar? It is a paper crafter’s dream! Even thought this advent calendar is sold out, we are here to bring you a look inside each of the 24 windows.

Day 1

Are you as excited as we are that Day 1 of the Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar is finally here? Now we’ve heard rumors that some of you have already peeked and that’s okay, but for those of you waiting for December 1st – the day has arrived! We opened our first window and created this adorable project!

This special die reflects the theme of this year’s calendar – a mailbox! We know you have a blast using it all year round. Please join us everyday for new card inspiration using the crafty goodie of the day! We know the calendar sold out quickly this year, but the good news? We have already started design on a new Crafty Advent Calendar for 2023! In meantime, check out new product arriving daily on our website!

Day 2

Aww, what is cuter than an itty bitty stamp set? Not much, we say! For Day 2 of the Crafty Advent Calendar we designed this small but mighty stamp set. As you can see from the card we created, it really packs a lot into a little set.

Day 3

Day 3 of the Crafty Advent Calendar is here! Today features another adorable die: it’s a super cute border. Use this die with or without the rim to really expand its possibilities. How cute is this project using the tried-and-true technique of repetition.

And, as you will see throughout the month, we will be using past days goodies on our cards as well. You will recognize the stamped sentiment here from Day 2. We are so excited to inspire you all month long! Are you loving the calendar so far?

Day 4

It’s Crafty Advent Calendar Day 4! Yay! Today features one of our favorite products to work with - word dies! There is not much better than die cutting a special sentiment for your card project. So quick and easy!

This Happy Birthday sentiment not only cuts out the words, but also includes a background or “shadow” die. This makes creating so fun and versatile. We love the unexpected color combination on today’s card. It’s great to see the stamp from Day 2 used in different ink colors! Keep this Happy Birthday die handy, we are sure you will be using it for so many cards in 2023!

Day 5

It’s already Day 5 of the Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar! And we are super excited for today’s treasure – it’s a mini embossing folder! How cute are those stripes? We are big fans of the Diagonal Stripes Slimline folder, so having here in a cute mini size is so fun! (Why are things so cute when they get mini-sized?)

We adore today’s card, too! It not only features embossed cardstock in four colors, but also brings back the cute mailbox from Day 1. This card has a bit of a Valentine’s theme, but could work for anyone that needs to be cheered up! So sweet. Use the standard sandwich on your die cutting machine for this embossing folder – we know you will love the results!

Day 6

We must admit, we are very excited to see Day 6 arrive! We aren’t supposed to play favorites, but I mean honestly – this little gnome die is too cute! You can customize his hat with or without the dots, add a cute wand to his hand, or just use the star die as an extra embellishment. So many creative possibilities!

Day 7

Day 7 is here! And the Crafty Advent Calendar really delivered today. It’s the first stencil in the box and we couldn’t be more excited. Polka dots are a universal favorite and we love how this stencil allows you to create confetti, multi colored dots or even a fabulous bokeh effect like this card shows.

Combine an inked background with various layers of white pigment ink and you can create a truly magical effect! Because this stencil has layers, try using just one or two for variety! We hope you love this special goodie from Day 7!

Day 8

Day 8 of the Crafty Advent Calendar features another really special die! This adorable heart is sure win a top spot in your favorites stash. Whether you create a monotone heart with all pinks and reds, or go wild with all the colors of the rainbow, this die will make your next project sing!

We love that this die also has a rim to cut a delightful mat around your heart – this card features a heart cut from glitter foam! We paired it with another sweet background stenciled from yesterday’s prize. So fun to build on each’s day treasure.

Day 9

Day 9 brings some sparkle to your crafting! We often say that creating sparks JOY in our lives, and these super sparkly sequins are sure to delight.

We love using sequins in shaker cards like the one above (and check out the cute gnomie!), but they are also perfect for adding shine to any project. Just adhere with a dot of clear adhesive and you are all set!

Day 10

The Crafty Advent Calendar Day 10 features a really sweet die set. Florals are definitely a fan favorite so we knew we had to include at least one set! This is a small but mighty set that you will use over and over again! (And don’t forget to combine it with any of the latest Spellbinders floral sets for a new fresh look).

We love how this die offers so many possibilities to mix and match with different layering options and flower centers. Use your rainbow of cardstock to create a truly adorable garden of your own!

Day 11

How fun is Day 11? This great little die has not one, not two, but three sentiments included! We love how crisp the letter look when embossed on the banner, especially when die cut with our Mirror Silver or Mirror Gold specialty cardstock.

Mixing this die with either the layered stencil as shown in this card, or switching it up with the layered floral dies will be sure to make your next card project blooming wonderful!

Day 12

What a Tweet Day! It’s Day 12 of the Crafty Advent Calendar and this little bird certainly makes us smile! This sweet little guy is a great companion for our Little Chickadee die set that was released earlier this year.

We love the idea of choosing your favorite cardstock colors and “coloring with paper” as you die cut and create a whole flock of these birdies. Enjoy and watch as your cards take flight!

Day 13

It’s Day 13 and time for another itty bitty stamp set. This cute set has just the right mixture of adorable fonts and mix and match words that become a set you reach for time and again.

Whether you stamp in traditional black ink, or break out the embossing powder and heat tool, they are so many ways to add that perfect sentiment to you card! We say “Until further notice, celebrate everything!”

Day 14

This month is just flying by! We hope you are having a blast opening your Crafty Advent Calendar. We are so excited to be sharing daily inspiration. Today is no exception – the goodie in today’s window is such a sweet one.

And, it pairs perfectly with the darling bird from Day 12! Or, imagine creating five or six of these die cut and fashioning your own tiny wreath? So cute! Day 15

Day 16

A beautiful BOLD sentiment seems perfect for Day 16 of the Crafty Advent Calendar. Layer this one up with glossy or mirror cardstock and it’s a real showstopper!

This die includes both the letters and the outline die for so much versatility. What a fun surprise for the day!

Day 17

Again, we know not to pick favorites, but really? Day 17 must be our lucky day because it features a SEVEN piece nesting set of dies! Wow!

Use this die set to create the most adorable rainbow or mix and match the arches for so many possibilities! We just want to keep this cute die front and center on our crafting desk!

Day 18

Day 18 brings even more sparkle to your crafting! This time we’ve picked a beautiful blue shade of sparkly goodness.

Perfect for shaker cards or add that perfect touch of shine to your next project!

Day 19

Congratulations are in order! We are excited to have created this darling stamp that’s great for so many occasions. The larger word in this classic font paired with all the smaller supporting stamps make this such a fun set.

Day 20

We are down to the last few days of the Crafty Advent Calendar. But, maybe you could say we are saving the best for last! That sure seems to be the case for today’s prize.

This three layer stencil creates the most precious flower bouquet. Double it up like we did on this card and it’s such a delight. Stencils are all the rage right now and we know this will become a favorite of yours!

Day 21

Day 21 features a mini layering die. We launched several of these fun layering dies last summer, so we couldn’t resist creating an exclusive shape for the Crafty Advent Calendar!

Fashion it into a flower as we did on this project, or line up the shape along the edge of a card. We know you will think of so many ways to create with this cute die! We can’t wait to see!

Day 22

One last sprinkle of fun on Day 22! This color of sequins is just the sweetest!

We love the pretty iridescent shine of these sequins. Just change up with color of cardstock and the sequins will take on the color for a truly unique look. So pretty!

Day 23

One more day to go! And we would be remiss if we didn’t include a Thank You die! This also gives us the chance to say Thank YOU for coming on this adventure with us. This is our first Spellbinders Crafty Advent Calendar and we have had so much fun with it! We know there were a few bumps as we learned what works for the mechanics of the calendar, but we promise to make next year’s even better!

Enjoy combining this Thank You die with pretty much anything from the last 23 days of goodies! Here we’ve used the confetti stencil, star die from the gnome set and a generous sprinkle of sequins! So much fun.

Day 24

We are both excited and a little sad that this our last day of Advent! We created a very special die for Day 24 of the Crafty Advent Calendar.

Our larger truck dies are some of the most popular, so we couldn’t resist creating a mini version! Add the adorable packages or customize your truck with other small dies from your collection.
