Rocky Dancin’ Yeti, Monster Friends

Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I'm thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again! If you'd like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials. I absolutely love the Monster Friends Collection, and this month, there's a new release featuring a die set called "Rocky Dancin' Yeti." I created three cards using the Rocky Dancin' Yeti die, coordinating it with other collections.

A Reindeer Yeti

Rocky Dancin’ Yeti, Monster Friends, S4-1393 I created a yeti with a custom reindeer design. First, I created the background by using two-toned gray ink to press the birch trees registration press plates. Rocky Dancin’ Yeti, Monster Friends, S4-1393 I die-cut the birds on red card stock from the Birch Trees Registration Press Plates & Die. I die-cut the sentiments on silver matted card stock and black with the Colorful expression Sentiments die set. I die-cut the Yeti die in three different colors. I highlighted the reindeer with a white Gel pen.

Hot Cocoa with a Yeti

Rocky Dancin’ Yeti, Monster Friends, S4-1393 First, I pressed the Season's Greetings Evergreens Plate with white pigment ink onto the indigo cardstock. Then, I applied white ink over the pressed images to create a snow scene. I die-cut the white card stock with the Color block Scenic Scape die to create a slope. Rocky Dancin’ Yeti, Monster Friends, S4-1393 For the sentiments, press in black ink on white cardstock using the Flutter into Spring BP plate, then die-cut with the coordinating die. I die-cut the Yeti and colored it with blue ink to shade the edges with blending brushes. I attached it with foam stickers.

Monster Friends Birthday

Rocky Dancin’ Yeti, Monster Friends, S4-1393 I embossed November’s Embossing Club in white card stock to create the card's background. The pattern of the embossing is a great fit for the birthday-themed card. Rocky Dancin’ Yeti, Monster Friends, S4-1393 Next, I die-cut the Dancin’ Birthday Monster on green card stocks, and Yeti die on blue card stocks. I used rainbow foil on the Birthday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil plate, then die-cut it with the matching die. I attached it to the base using a foam sticker.
