Hello there,
Michelle Short here to share some inspiration using the
Limited Edition Stitching Die & Stamp Collection. I have two cards to share with you today. A Christmas card with simple stitching and then an everyday card with the stitching stepped up a little.
The great thing about the
Layered Stitched Diamonds Dies is that you can mix and match different components to have lots of stitching or less stitching, for different looks. There is also a stitched rectangle die that can cut the whole panel out.

MERRY CHRISTMAS STITCHING
For my first card, I took the base layer of
Layered Stitched Diamonds, as well as the rectangle die, and cut them twice from
Snowdrift Cardstock. They were adhered together using
Bearly Art Glue for some added stability while stitching.

I stitched the corners using red
DMC Variegated Floss and the panel adhered to an A2 white card base. I wanted to cover up the center section, so I die cut an
Essential Diamond Etched Die from more
Snowdrift Cardstock and adhered it on top.

I die cut the poinsettia and foliage from
Holiday Blooms and
Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations and adhered them to the card with
Bearly Art Glue.
The sentiment from
Merry Glimmer Sentiments was foiled onto
Snowdrift Cardstock with
Gold Foil. It was die-cut and then stacked with an additional two layers before adhering to the card. To finish off, I added a few
Gold Mix Essentials Gems.
MAKE A WISH
For my second card, I wanted to show how you can use the different layers of the
Layered Stitched Diamonds to create a whole panel of stitching. I left the centerpiece out for my sentiment, but there is a stitching layer for that too if you wanted.

I die-cut all of the layers twice from
Cosmic Sky Cardstock. They were adhered together using
Bearly Art Glue. This helps to prevent any buckling or bending of the cardstock when stitching.
I again used
DMC Variegated Floss to stitch. I really like how you get variations of shades on the different layers. I used all three bundles of blues from the pack.

The pieces adhered to an A2 card base made from Cosmic Sky Cardstock. I then took the sentiment from the Layered Diamonds Sentiments stamp set and stamped it onto a piece of Cosmic Sky Cardstock using
Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink.
I applied
Silver Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut into a diamond using the die in the set and popped up with two additional layers into the center of the card. To finish off, I added a few
Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems to embellish.
