Liberty Collection Inspiration with Kelly Martin

Hello, Friends! My name is Kelly Martin and thanks so much for stopping by the blog today to join me as we take a look at the new Liberty Collection! The products in this collection are so versatile - there really is something for everyone! If you like die-cutting, stenciling, or just clean and simple cardmaking, then this collection is for you. So let’s get into the projects for today!

4th of July Card

I created the background for this card using the Sun Burst Stencil and blending some various inks. After the background was done, I set it aside to work on assembling the die-cut car. This die set is pretty easy to use, especially when you look at the product photo for reference!

Please note: Liberty Sunday Drive is a set of 14 thin metal dies added with S4-1053 Sunday Drive set has Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty off on a joy ride out into the country! This is one of several Sunday Drive series which you know you want them all.

After the car was finished, I put foam tape on the back and then centered it on the background and adhered it down.

Patterned Paper Color Block Card

For my second card, I used several papers from the Sincerely Yours paper pad and a sentiment from the Sunday Drive All-Occasion set.

I trimmed down a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base and then glued a 4.25 x 5.5 inch panel of the patterned paper down to the card base. I used the Color Block Panel Die to cut a coordinating piece of patterned paper and adhered foam to the back. I then glued that down to the top of the card. I cut a green and white circle using the Nestabilities Standard Circles die. I stamped a sentiment on the white circle and then glued the white circle to the green one, and then glued down the completed sentiment circle to the middle of the card, where the top panel corner meets the card base.
