Exploring the Not Your Ordinary Card Collection
Hi Spellbinders fans. Alanna Moses from EmbellishCraftLove.com and I am very excited to be guesting on the Spellbinders blog today. I have the honor of sharing the Not Your Ordinary Card Collection from Wendy Vecchi and Spellbinders. This is a fantastic collection of products which includes a stencil set and four die sets. Each of the products is available for separate purchase or there is a bundle for a limited time with savings.
THANKS A MILLION
Use Build a Plaid Layered stencil set and stencil with three shades of yellow ink. Use Golden Rose Paper Glaze for one layer
Die cut floral and leaf images from the Essential Envelope die set from both kraft and white cardstock
Add kraft ink to leaf images to add dimension
Die cut stenciled panel with Nestabilities Labels Eight die set and add to kraft A2 notecard with foam squares
Die cut the leafy cluster die from the Christmas Add-Ons stamp and die set about 8 times from green cardstock and the bow images from red cardstock
Add green ink to die cuts for shading using blending brushes. Add Gilded Foundry Wax onto some of the leaves and use heat gun to dry
Assemble leaf die cuts onto white panel and adhere
Stamp sentiment from the Christmas Add-Ons stamp and die set with red ink and then use a coordinating die to cut it out. Die cut outline die 4 more times to stack for added dimension
Add panel to the background with foam squares and attach bow die cut
Finish off card by adding in a few Fashion Taupe Color Essentials Pearl Dots
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAKER CARD
On a white A2 notecard, add yellow ink to the center of panel using a large blending brush fading the color out
Add birthday cake above the sentiment and finish off the card by adding Glossy Accents to candle flames
Finish off card by adding in 3 Aura Opalescent Color Essential Sequins directly to the cake
