Video: Succulent Pots Card

I love when I have stamps that can be colored using any of your favorite coloring techniques. Today's card features a pair of pretty stamps called hero_product_link sku="G6130" text=" Potted Succulent "] and hero_product_link sku="E6140" text="Small Potted Succulent"] , as well as their matching hero_product_link sku="DI174" text=" Frame Cuts "] .

I stamped the images with hero_product_link sku="AF345" text="Intense Black Ink"] . I have to say that this ink is amazingly black, and the best part is that it is watercolor and marker friendly. I just love it. I have used watercolors to color these particular stamps before, but this time I chose markers instead. After I colored the images, I added glaze over some of the leaves, just to add a little bit of interest to them. Additionally I used foam along with its matching Frame Cuts to add dimension.

Shadow Inks have always been my favorite since the first time I tried them. The ink spreads evenly after you stamp the image, and the colors are very pretty. So that is why I chose Shadow Inks to stamp a partial plaid background for my card, and I created it with a DIY stamp, that I made from a strip of foam and an acrylic block.

I stamped a simple sentiment also with hero_product_link sku="AF345" text="Intense Black Ink"] . This sentiment belongs to one of my current favorite stamp sets: hero_product_link sku="CL954" text="Many Everyday Messages"] . As its name says, this set has a lot of message options, great for almost any occasion. As always I added some orange and green gemstones, I love the bling!

Thanks for joining me today,
