Win a Sold Out Kit! Favorites from the Vault Giveaway #3

Happy Saturday! We're back with our third and final Favorites from the Vault giveaway opportunity!

During a recent warehouse cleaning session, we were happily surprised to find some hidden treasures -- a handful of past kit items. We gathered every last piece from a few select kits, and now you have a chance to win some SOLD OUT My Monthly Hero kit products!

We may have saved the best for last. You decide...

Who remembers the very FIRST My Monthly Hero kit? The month, October...the year, 2015. Who also remembers how quickly that kit sold out? (Back then, there were no My Monthly Hero subscriptions offered.) The beautiful color layered poinsettias came onto the scene and were a smashing hit right out of the gate -- so much so, that the kit sold out in just a few hours and our website experienced some hiccups due to the heavy traffic. We've learned and grown since then, but will never forget the excitement and joy of that very first kit. It holds a special place in our hearts as we now celebrate the MMH program's 5th anniversary with you.

As the ultimate throwback, today we have 5 sets of stamps and dies from the October 2015 kit to give away to 5 lucky winners!

TO ENTER: Comment on this blog post and let us know one piece of stamping wisdom that you wish you'd known when you started stamping! The entry deadline is Thursday, October 29 at 11:59pm PT. We will announce the 5 randomly chosen winners here on the blog.

Now we get to announce the winners from last weekend's Favorites from the Vault giveaway!

The 5 randomly chosen winners will each receive stamps and dies from the sold out October 2018 kit:

• Stephanie Benoit
• Julia Dvorak
• Mary Gilmer
• Tracy Kent
• Sandy Koca

Congratulations to all! Please send an email to info@heroarts.com to claim your prizes and include "Vault Winner" in the subject line.

Last but not least, we want to remind you that time is running out on our classic kits sale. Celebrate 5 years of My Monthly Hero with $5 off a fabulous selection of classic kits, while supplies last! The sale price ($29.99) is reflected automatically in your shopping cart -- no code needed. This offer expires October 31. Check out all eight of the classic kits on sale here.

Thanks for stopping by and celebrating our anniversary with us. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Dianna Weaver,

The one thing I wish I had known from the beginning would be to buy less and purchase fewer but higher quality materials and tools. Four years later I am destashing boxes of stamps, dies and tools that I bought on clearance, subscriptions that are of a lesser quality or impulse buys that I never really used. I should have spent more time learning, less time shopping.

Makeba D'Abreu,

What? I still know nothing. Seriously, there are a few things I know now that I wish I knew a year ago: embraces the art — stamping in fun; the different types of inks; crafting has 3 built-in hobbies: creating, buying supplies (inclusive of wishing, just in case, impulse, and wondering around for something to strike), and buying items to organize my supplies; and Hero Arts. I fell in love with the brand when I realized their consciousness for social justice and corporate responsibility. Stamping is existential. What I stamp is an expression of my experiences, views, hopes, faith, and desire to leave the world better and an opportunity to live on purpose.

Esther Allison,

I wish I had known about drying inks with a heat tool! I only had pigment inks and they were always smudging.

Lynn Lohne,

Such a cool kit! I have been a my monthly hero’s kit subscriber for a couple of years. They really are a good value. I wish I had known that to master stamping, it takes a little bit of practice. And who knew there would be stamping platforms? I love this craft & enjoy creating with Hero Arts products. Once a month I get a box full of goodies just for me, what could be better?

Marianne Brinkley,

If I had only known why my ink just wouldn’t dry – even after waiting overnight! Who knew that pigment ink could stay that wet for so long!?
