Shakespearean Tag

Have you seen the new set, hero_product_link sku="CM106" text="Shakespearean Poetry"], which is an Add-On to the (sold out) August My Monthly Hero kit?

Don't you love that quote:

"We know what we are, but not what we may be."

I watercolored my paper panels with Ken Oliver Color Bursts. The blue panel was die cut with the hero_product_link sku="DC178" text="Thank You Tag Stamp & Cut by Lia"]. The quote is such a delicate font that I wanted it to be the star of the show so I knew that the hero_product_link sku="AF272" text="Chalkboard Dye"] ink would pop against that blue.

To bring out the black even more, I used black twine with the tag and anchored it on the top of the card with a small semi circle hole punch.

This card really didn't take much time at all but I love the impact of the colors and the black. Bonus points because it is quite postal friendly.

I hope that you're having a fabulous week and thanks so much for stoppin' by!
