This month we are one day later than normal due to the Labor Day holiday, so the kit releases tomorrow instead of today. Now let's join Michelle for another look at this wonderful kit.
Hello there, I hope you have been enjoying the countdown so far. I absolutely love the autumnal feel of the kit this month. Fall, or autumn, as we call it in the UK, is one of my favourite seasons. I love to see the leaves on the trees change colour and everything starts feeling more cosy. Although this kit leads itself to rich colours, I still wanted to keep my card quite light and airy.
I started off by stamping one of the vases from the main stamp set on to white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I made a mask for this and then stamped the lantern plant/Physalis on top. The mask was removed and the image coloured using Copic Markers. I fussy cut the image out, but there are dies included in the kit for both images, I just wanted the image to be one piece.
I took a white card base and embossed three circle dies from the Nesting Infinity Circles Dies on to the front panel. I then stamped the sentiment on top. The image was added with foam tape. To finish off, I added a few sequins from the Champagne and Sunshine mixes.

The embossed discs provide a wonderful backdrop for the main event plant. Very easy on the eyes.
