Sending Peace, Happiness & Love

Hello everybody! It's Maria Willis here and today I get to share a card using the gorgeous new Bare Branched Tree Bold Prints stamp. This is a 6"x6" stamp and is perfect for making beautiful backgrounds with ease. You can pair this stamp with ink blending as I did here, a watercolored background, or, stamp it on its own to get a variety of looks.

For today's card I decided to go for a wintery look. I ink blended Splash, Blue Hawaii and Blue Raspberry Reactive Inks lightly onto a piece of Dove White cardstock. After making sure the ink was completely dry I stamped the tree in Embossing and Watermark ink so that I could heat emboss it in white (Fine Detail White embossing powder).

While I had my heat tool and embossing powder out I decided to heat emboss the sentiment too. I love this sentiment from the Stocking Bouquet stamp and thought it was the perfect touch for a non-holiday, winter card. I heat embossed it in white onto Pitch Black cardstock and trimmed it down.

I decided to trim down my ink-blended piece so that it would have a white frame when I added it to my card base. I cut it to 3.5" x 4.75" and used foam tape to adhere it to the A2 sized card base.

After adding the sentiment strip I decided I needed to add an extra pop of color and the red enamel dots made it so easy to do!

The possibilities for using this gorgeous stamp are truly endless! I'm wondering if any of you have any color combinations in mind already...? If so, please feel free to share them below!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you all have an amazing day!
