Quick Ways to Use Small Stamps

Hi friends! Natasha Polite of Polite Creations joining you with a card using the adorable new stamps from the Retro Kitchen collection. I'll show you how to take the small images from the On the Shelf Stamp & Cut and use them in to different ways to create this card.

To begin, I cut an A2 panel of Arctic Cardstock. I then placed that inside of my Misti and smooshed Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink on the Misti door. I added water and then closed it to create an effortless ink smooshing on the panel. I then added white splatter and sat the panel to the side to dry.

Once that was mostly dry, I grabbed the two measuring cups from the On the Shelf Stamp Set, and lightly stamped those onto the panel using Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink. I used a baby wipe to remove some ink once stamped, which added more texture to the panel. I let the panel completely dry and then cut it down to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4".

Using Intens-ified Black Ink, I stamped both of the measuring cups, the bowl stack, and a sentiment onto Classic White Cardstock. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and trimmed the message into a strip. I then colored the bowl with True Blue and Aqua Blue TriBlend alcohol markers.

I popped all the elements up using foam squares. I adhered the Arctic panel to an A2 panel of Classic White with foam as well. Finally I added a few gems to complete the card and add some sparkle.

Thank you for joining me today!

Happy crafting,

Andrea B,

I love the layout of this card. What a great way to give small images some extra “oomph”!
