Partners: Pinkfresh Studio + a Giveaway!

Hero Arts is celebrating our 45th Anniversary this year, and we've had the honor of partnering with several of your favorite stamp companies in celebration of this milestone. We've already had releases from Concord & 9th as well as Gina K. Designs . Today we are honored and humbled to share that Pinkfresh Studio is the latest company to collaborate with us to celebrate this wonderful stamping community! A special "Partners" Hero Arts + Pinkfresh Studio 6x8 clear stamp set is available on our website starting today, and at a retailer near you beginning September 3rd! The PR102 HA + Pinkfresh Studio You Make a Difference stamp set includes a gorgeous floral frame for your cards and projects, as well as 11 fantastic hand-lettered messages. We know you're going to love it!

Check out this fabulous video tutorial Lea Lawson from Pinkfresh Studio created to highlight the new set.

If you are having trouble viewing this video, you can watch it HERE in HD on YouTube.

Kelly Rasmussen from our team also created a beautiful card to showcase You Make a Difference . Take it away, Kelly!

I'm so happy I get to share in the fun today for this collaboration between Hero Arts and Pinkfresh Studio. This is such a gorgeous stamp set with awesome uplifting and positive messages!

For my card I decided to pull out lots of Hero Arts Reactive Inks and make a pretty rainbow background. I simply swiped each color of ink onto my craft mat, then used a water brush to create stripes of color across a watercolor panel. I used a generous amount of water to get the colors to blend seamlessly and then let it dry while I worked on the sentiment portion of the card.

I chose to include three messages from the set that I think all work together very nicely. I white heat embossed each of them onto Pebble Cardstock and trimmed them all the same length.

Once my watercolor panel was dry, I white heat embossed the floral frame image over the top and then adhered it to a Dove White Top Folding Card .

Finally, I wanted my sentiment strips to stand out a little more, so I cut a strip of vellum with banner tails and then adhered the sentiments on top. It's little touches like this that I think can really make a card feel complete.
