Hi, Jess here and I am excited to share another look at this fun holiday kit! Of course I love anything music related (especially Christmas music) so two specific images in the kit caught my eye right away! ;)
To start I stamped the tree and record player with Soft Vanilla Ink and colored them with Copic markers. Then I restamped them, using my MISTI, with Embossing and Watermark Ink and heat-embossed them with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies.
Next I used Taffy and Green Apple Reactive Inks to blend little bokeh circles onto a panel of Dove White Hero Hues Cardstock. I splattered them with water to lighten areas and let the panel dry. Next I swiped my Embossing and Watermark Ink pad across the edges of my panel and heat-embossed them with Gold Glitter Embossing Powder. I also stamped my sentiment onto the panel and heat-embossed it with the same embossing powder. Finally I adhered my tree and popped up my record player with a little foam mounting tape. To finish the card I added a little Crystal Clear Lacquer to the ornaments and record for extra shine!

I can see my Mother loving this card. The table stereo is what ai remember growing up! Love it.
So adorable. Really reminds me of the cards from back in the day!
Awesome card. I learned some new techniques by embossing after coloring. Excited to try it on a fall card. Think leaves and copper embossing powder would be pretty. Thanks for a new idea!
