Hi everyone! Ilina here sharing another idea using this month's My Monthly Hero Kit. I had so much fun playing with this kit and creating different scenes. This month is all about Christmas, but we are taking you back in the 50s.
To make the card I started with two panels of Dove White cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Using my MISTI I stamped the fire place on both. I die cut it from the first panel and stamped the sentiment underneath the negative die cut using Intens-ified black ink. Also I stamped the tree, clock and presents, colored and die cut.
Adhere the panel with the sentiment using foam tape over the one with the fire place (that is not die cut). Adhere the rest of the images and adhere the whole panel onto Sand top folding note card

So far I’ve liked everything I’ve seen. I remember my parents having a clock just like the one on this card!
This scene reminds me so much of the house I grew up in, except the fireplace rocks were brown! I’d have to color it like my house on David Rd…. so many good memories! Can’t wait to see the whole kit!

Oh my gosh… we had that clock (in gold). Love this card so much. I am in love with that fireplace; it would be so cute decorated for every holiday. I want to hang stockings on it and listen for Santa. Love the font of the sentiment too. Lovely set!
