We are one sleep away from the release of the October My Monthly Hero Kit! The kit will be available Monday, October 7 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Now let’s join Ilina, who is sharing the final look at this fabulous kit!
Hi everyone! Ilina here sharing another idea using this month's My Monthly Hero Kit. I had so much fun playing with this kit and creating different scenes. This month is all about Christmas, but we are taking you back in the 50s.
To make the card I started with two panels of Dove White cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Using my MISTI I stamped the fire place on both. I die cut it from the first panel and stamped the sentiment underneath the negative die cut using Intens-ified black ink. Also I stamped the tree, clock and presents, colored and die cut.

Adhere the panel with the sentiment using foam tape over the one with the fire place (that is not die cut). Adhere the rest of the images and adhere the whole panel onto Sand top folding note card

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced first thing Monday morning, October 7th, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have a creative day!

Can’t wait to use that fireplace!
That is darling! The clock cracks me up. I so remember those. Can’t wait to see the full kit. Wish I could win this kit. Love all the Inspiration posts!!! Thank you Ilana for your inspiring work! 👍👏❤️
This card gives a cozy feeling for christmas. I like the idea of setting the fireplace in the background. And the clock ! I hope I don’t miss tomorrow release. That kit will probably sell out fast.
I love the fireplace and tree! They are colored really nicely!
Wow! I like the look of that cozy fireplace. Looking forward to seeing all the kit.
Oh, love the tree used on this card. The fireplace is an awesome stamp too
I am getting a kick out of seeing those little images that just portray the 50’s without words. A variation of that clock was a staple in a lot of houses when I was a kid.
Thanks ILINIA! Always like your crafty ways of color and function!
The stone fireplace takes me back to my grandparents house when I was a little girl. I cannot get over the waves of nostalgia this kit brings.
So happy to see these stamps! Loving the 50’s vibe! I think we had a clock just like that one!
