National Craft Month Challenge: The Final Stretch!

Happy Friday! As our National Craft Month challenge continues, this week we have a new creative prompt for you: any craft goes! Truly. If you can make it, it counts. While stamping and papercrafting are always near and dear to our hearts, we also love the wide world of crafting and would love to see what you make! Share your projects HERE and you'll be entered to win a Hero Arts prize pack valued at more than $100!

Now Kelly is here with a fun and colorful project to get the crafty inspiration started!

Hello! Today I'm sharing a decorative paper garland made from Hero Hues Premium Cardstock. You could use it for party decor or to simply spruce up a corner in your home.

To create the garland I die cut a bunch of circles using the Nesting Circles Infinity Dies. Then I arranged the circles in the order I wanted them to be in the garland and then started sewing with my sewing machine.

I left a little bit of space between each of the circles, so when the garland is stored it folds up nice and flat without bending any of the paper. And to make the garland a little more fun I decided to use gold thread.

I decided to do a rainbow pattern, but it can be made to fit in with any color scheme you choose. And you can even change up the shape of the die used. I think a Valentine's garland using our Nesting Hearts Infinity Dies would be adorable!

Here again is the link to the post where you can share your National Craft Month challenge projects for a chance to win: ENTER HERE

Have fun creating!

Margaret Ann Chamblee,

So cute and simple! I’m going to do one in shades of brown and cream for the new coffee bar I made in my family heirloom Hoosier cabinet! :)

Hero Arts, we love you. Keep being you!!!

Henriétte,

Gorgeous Kelly, I think this would also be great from all the scrap pieces of paper/cardstock I have. Thank you so much for the inspiration and have a great day.

Cindy C.,

Such fun and colorful decor, and it’s not complicated!! Thanks for sharing.
