Hello! It's time for another look at the June My Monthly Hero Kit before the kit releases on Monday, June 3rd at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We will be here for the rest of the weekend, sharing inspiration before the launch. Now let's join Ilina for another look at this fabulous kit.
It's another month and another amazing MMH kit. This month's kit takes you right into the jungle. It's filled with different animals and foliage and it's perfect for coloring.
For my card today I used the flamingo and lot of the foliage images. I started by stamping the images onto Dove White cardstock using the Intense-ified Black ink cube that comes in the kit, colored with alcohol based markers and die cut using the coordinating dies. Set them aside.

Next I cut a piece of Dove White cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/4" and used the Circle Infinity Dies to cut a window. Stamped sentiment in black. Next I cut a slightly smaller panel from Mist cardstock and blended in some Pool Party Reactive Ink on the top half. Using foam mounting tape, adhered those two pieces of cardstock together (window and mist). Arranged all the die cut elements and adhered them.
To finish off the card I adhered the panel to a top folding Pitch Black note card.
Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced first thing Monday morning, June 3, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
Good luck!

I love the theme of this kit….jungle and all. Can’t wait to see it. I collect flamingos.
The layering of the leaves around the circle die-cut is striking.
