Hot Foil Meets Holiday Fun with the Sassy Elf Die

Hot Foil Meets Holiday Fun with the Sassy Elf Die

Hi crafty friends! It's Jeannie and today I'm sharing a card that features the Sassy Elf Costume Die Set to make a jolly holiday card! This is set is so fun because one of my favorite holiday movies is Elf!

Let's start off with my general thoughts for this card. I really wanted to pull in the Celebration Letterpress & Foil for a fun background. Whenever I know I'll have an image that will leave a lot of white space, I want to fill it up a bit.

I pulled out the Spellbinders Fern Colorwheel Cardstock so I could use it with the Celebration Letterpress & Foil along with the Spellbinders Matte Gold Foil. It's such a pretty combination and perfect for the holidays.

For my die cut pieces, I used a variety of colors: Cranberry (feather), Beeswax (hat trim), Raven (shoes and sentiment) and I also used a piece of Alabaster that I trimmed down so the pretty foiled Fern cardstock would peek through on the sides.

The easy part of a die cut card is when you put all the pieces together and it's such a cute little holiday card for anyone who might be excited for the holidays!

I hope you can take this idea and remember to use your letterpress and foil supplies -- it adds such a pretty touch to your cards, especially with the holidays coming up!

Thank you for stopping by!
