Hello friends. Today I'm sharing a couple of card ideas with the February My Monthly Hero Kit. I love the 1920's Art Deco theme of the kit and add-ons and was inspired by the design of the die in the main kit to create these framed up designs.
I was able to get two cards out of the die cuts by creating inlay backgrounds. The die from the main kit was die cut from gold mirror cardstock twice to use as the frames for both cards. The die was then die cut again from both black mirror cardstock and champagne gold glitter cardstock. The black and glitter cardstock were used to create the inlays.
I used the line art images from the main kit and stamped them on smooth white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. The images were colored in with Copic Markers.
I love how the same design can be used for many different occasion cards. For the second card I used the same design but used the single female image holding the martini glass from the main kit along with a sentiment from the main kit to match the image.

As always your cards are my favourite Nichol. I love how you filled in the designs. And framed your images. (also like how we got a sneak peak of some of the other images in this set. It will be perfect for sooo many wedding cards that I need to get a head start on for this summer. This kit is a keeper for sure!
