A Journey of a Thousand Miles

Hi everyone! Ilina here! I hope you are loving the new August add-on products as much as I do. I have a fun card with pop of color to share with you today using the new Road Signs Bold Prints and Roadside Messages clear stamp set.

To make the card, start by stamping the Road Signs Bold Prints on Deluxe Smooth White cardstock using Granite ink. Once stamped trim it to 4" x 5 1/4" and set aside.

Stamp one of the sentiments from the Roadside Messages set on Deluxe Smooth White cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink a few times and emboss using Clear Ultra Fine Embossing Powder several times. Color using the coloring medium of your choice. I used watercolor markers. Die cut using the coordinating die. Also cut it a couple of times from scrap heavyweight white cardstock and once from Pitch Black cardstock.

Stack the die cuts together (the stamped and the white ones), adhere the black one on the back, offsetting it slightly to create dimension. Adhere to the stamped background.

Next create a note card from Pitch Black cardstock and adhere the assembled panel to it. Add a few Sunset Enamel Dots to finish it off.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have amazingly creative day!
