2021 Catalog Sneak Peek #4 + Giveaway

2021 Catalog Sneak Peek #4 + Giveaway

For our fourth and final sneak peek before tomorrow's 2021 Catalog reveal, we're taking it back -- to the back of the catalog, that is! That's where you'll traditionally find all of the Hero Arts inks, papers, embellishments and tools. It's a colorful section that's a feast for the eyes and has been known to make hearts go pitter-patter. Let's take a look at just a few of the new products!

Last year we launched Hero Hues Pigment Inks and now we are thrilled to bring 3 new colors to the line -- Onyx (AF465), Canary (AF466), and Slate (AF467). Pigment Inks are crisp, opaque, slow-drying, and ideal for embossing and heat setting.

Our popular Hero Hues Reactive Ink collection is also growing! Purple Galaxy (AF464) is pictured above and Root Beer (AF463) and Licorice (AF462) round out the new offerings. Reactive Inks are a special hybrid ink formulation that reacts when spritzed with water. You can use the pad to achieve a wide range of beautiful effects...and now in more colors than ever! Reinkers will be available.

We have another inky addition that we couldn't keep to ourselves for a moment longer. Say hello to Contour Ink (AF468), a smooth, light-toned hybrid ink that's ideal for no-line coloring techniques. It works beautifully with alcohol markers, colored pencils and watercolors, and you can also use it as a general purpose stamping ink. Have you given no-line coloring a try? Here is a fabulous card by Nichol Spohr that showcases the technique. Such a great way to get an entirely different look with your stamped images!

Last but not least, we present Hero Arts Ink Blending Brushes (MI003), a set of two brushes for blending water-based inks onto your cards and projects. The fine white oval brush head and ergonomic handle design makes smoothly blended backgrounds a breeze. We see lots of lovely ink blends in your future!

GIVEAWAY: Leave a comment on this post and we will randomly select one winner to receive a $20 gift card to the Hero Arts online shop! Please comment by Sunday, January 17 at 11:59pm PT, and we’ll announce the winners the following week.

Here are links to the previous peeks (and giveaways!) this week in case you missed any. Make sure to comment on each for more chances to win: Day 1Day 2Day 3.

Have a great day and we’ll see you tomorrow for the reveal of the 2021 Catalog. We can't wait to show you all 108 pages!

I love your inks and thanks for the explanation of what each one does. I have many of the cubes from my kits and I am never sure which one to use. I’m in my late 70’s so I’ve seen lots of changes in these products and it is good to be reminded every so often what to do with each of the inks!

I love the new inks! I need a new White Ink and now need to decide if the contour ink is the one. I also need for embossing, so will read more on that. Thank You Hero Arts!
