VIDEO: Create Texture Using Inks

Hi friends! Natasha Polite of Polite Creations joining you today on the Hero Arts blog with a set of bold cards featuring the September Layering Stencils of the Month.

Check out the video below to see these cards come to life.

I stenciled onto White Cardstock using Creamsicle, Pumpkin, Papaya, Blue Raspberry, Eqyptian Blue, Berry Smoothie, and Raspberry Jam in a stippling motion. For the tree trunks and branches, I used Root Beer ink.

I cut the panel down to create two 2" x 5.5" stenciled panels. I also created 1/2" strips using Pumpkin and Raspberry Jam inks. Once these were adhered to an A2 white panel, I stamped a sentiment from the September Stamp and Cut using Intens-ified Black Ink.

Finally, I added gems to give a little sparkle to each panel. I also created cards using a second panel, but cutting it diagonally.

I hope that I have inspired you to grab your inks and start stippling today. Happy Crafting!
