Video: Colorful Crayon Box Card with Sky Ombré Hero Transfers

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm excited to share a vibrant and playful card creation featuring the new Sky Ombré Hero Transfers and Box of Crayons Fancy Dies.

(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please watch here on YouTube.)

To start, I applied small pieces of the Sky Ombré Hero Transfers to Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. When working with Hero Transfers, I like to apply them to small areas for a pop of color, which adds visual interest without overwhelming the design. They also can cover larger areas for a bold background!

Next, I used the Box of Crayons Fancy Dies to cut out crayons in each color of the rainbow. I then die-cut a crayon box from vellum and filled it with the rainbow crayons. To add an extra element, I stamped a beautiful rainbow and cloud image from the Floral Rainbow and Clouds Bundle in Intens-ified Black Ink and die-cut it using the coordinating die. I colored the rainbow using alcohol markers in colors that matched the crayons.

After assembling the crayon box, I added the colored rainbow image to the front using foam tape. For my sentiment, I heat embossed hello in white on Pitch Black cardstock and adhered it to the front of my rainbow.

To create the card background, I stamped the Script Bold Prints using Granite Core Ink on Granite cardstock. Tone-on-tone backgrounds are a great way to add texture and depth to a card! The final step was to adhere my completed crayon box to the center of the background.

This card showcases the creativity and playfulness of the Box of Crayons Fancy Dies and Sky Ombré Hero Transfers. By combining these products with other techniques and stamps, you can create many unique designs. Try experimenting with different colors and textures to unlock your full creative potential! Happy crafting!
