Sweet Greetings Gingerbread House

Hello there! It's Seeka, and today I have a card featuring the sweet Color Layering Gingerbread House. This cute little house has four layers, one for the walls of the house, and three for the roof, windows, door, and trim. Think of all the color combinations you could use!

I started off by stamping the house walls in Caramel Bold Ink onto Hero Hues Dove White Premium CardstockThen I stamped the next three layers in Pale Tomato Mid-Tone Shadow Ink, Ultra Pink Mid-Tone Shadow Ink, and Soft Pink Shadow Ink. I used the same Caramel ink to stamp the little gingerbread man, and the same Pale Tomato ink to stamp the candy cane. Using the coordinating dies, I cut out all three images and then used a Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen to add shine and dimension to the rooftop, windows, doors, trim, and candy cane. I let these pieces dry for several hours before continuing.

Next, I trimmed a piece of Hero Hues Dove White Premium Cardstock to 3.25" x 4.5" and stamped the sentiment in Intens-ified Black ink. I adhered this piece to an A2-sized piece of Hero Hues Mist Premium Cardstock

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the house to the sentiment panel and then adhered the candy cane flush to the panel. I used a bit of foam tape to adhere the gingerbread man and then to finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Thank you so much for visiting!
