Join Us for a Hero Studio Make-Along!

Our next LIVE Make-Along event is this weekend! Join Channin to make along with the Hero Studio July 2024 Card Kit of the Month. Gather your supplies and create a card with Channin from start to finish.

In addition to the July Card Kit of the Month, the following supplies will be used.

PS323 Pitch Black Cardstock
PS320 Sand Cardstock 
PS312 Paradise Cardstock
PS314 Arctic Cardstock 
PS336 Ultra Pink Cardstock 
PS325 Dove White Cardstock
AF471 Sand Core Ink
AF249 Unicorn Pigment Ink
PW122 Detail White Embossing Powder
MI006 Large Ink Blending Brush
GW101 Precision Glue
Stamp Positioning Tool ex. MISTI
Die-Cutting Machine
Foam Adhesive 
Tape Runner
Heat Tool
Paper Trimmer
Copic Markers - E43, RV06, BG10, BG23

Instructions:

  1. Stamp an A2 panel of Sand cardstock with the Rock cling stamp from the July Card Kit of the Month in Sand Core Ink. Adhere the panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base.
  2. Die cut the sand castle out of white cardstock with Sand Castle Fancy Dies included in the July Card Kit of the Month. 
  3. Ink blend over the castle with Sand Core Ink. Color the doors/windows in with a E43 copic marker. 
  4. Diecut a shovel out to Arctic cardstock, the bucket out of Paradise cardstock and four shells, two out of Ultra Pink and two out of Dove White cardstock.
  5. Color the shovel with BG10 and the bucket with BG23. Color the white shells with RV06.
  6. Stamped a sentiment from the Victorian Seaside clear stamp set from the July Card Kit of the Month in Unicorn White Cardstock onto Pitch Black cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over the sentiment and then heat set. Die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating dies.
  7. Adhere all the diecuts to the card front with foam adhesive.

Copic Markers: Skin (E31, E35), Cheek (R22), Hair (E35, E37, E29), Mermaid Tail (BG10, BG34, BG15, BG49), Fish (Y08, YR23), Seaweed (YG03, G07, G28), Rocks (E30, E31), Mussels (C3, C5)

Instructions:

  1. Stamp several images from the July Clear Set of the Month in INTENS-ified Black Ink ontoDove White cardstock.
  2. When the ink is dry, copic color the images in and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
  3. Die cut an A2 panel of Dove White cardstock with the fifth largest circle die from Nesting Circle Infinity Die set.
  4. Ink blend over the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with Sand and Arctic Core inks. 
  5. Ink blend lightly over the image diecuts with the Sand and Arctic Core inks.
  6. Stamp a sentiment onto the card front in INTENS-ified Black Ink. 
  7. Adhere circle panel to the card front with foam adhesive.
  8. Adhere the images to the card front with foam adhesive.
  9. Add white gel pen highlights to the images.
