Join us for a Hero Studio Make-Along!

Our next LIVE Make-Along event is this weekend! Join Channin to make along with the Hero Studio September 2024 Card Kit of the Month. Gather your supplies and create a card with Channin from start to finish.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Trim Dove White cardstock down to create an A2 panel (4.25" x 5.5").
  2. Ink-blend over panel with Passion Flower, Amethyst, Grape Juice, Purple Galaxy, Nautical and Pitch Black Inks.
  3. Die cut panel with the Moon Window Die from the September Card Kit of the Month.
  4. Mask the branches and then splatter the panel with the White Acrylic Spray.
  5. Ink-blend over the front of an A2 top-folding white card base with Lemon Yellow and Butter Bar inks. 
  6. Die cut the Pitch Black cardstock with the Moon Window Die. Cut off the branches and set them aside.
  7. Stamp the owl from the Animal Eyes clear set onto the card front in Pitch Black Ink.
  8. Adhere some of the black branches to the card front with Precision Glue.
  9. Trim off a little of the branch on the ink-blended panel to make it easier to see the owl. Adhere cut off branch back to the panel with liquid glue.
  10. Adhere the panel to the card front with foam adhesive.
  11. Stamp a sentiment from the Animal Eyes stamp set in Unicorn Pigment Ink onto Pitch Black cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over and then heat set with a heat tool.
  12. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.

BONUS CARD featuring the September Layering Stencil of the Month.

Supplies:

 Instructions:

  1. Position stencil #1 from the September Color Layering Stencils of the Month over the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
  2. Ink-blend over the stencil with Passion Flower and Amethyst inks.
  3. Position stencil #2 and ink-blend over the stencil with Amethyst card ink
  4. Position stencil #3 and ink-blend over the stencil with Dusty Blue, Stone Wash, Nautical and Pitch Black inks.
  5. Position stencil #4 and ink-blend over the stencil with Periwinkle and Stone wash Inks. 
  6. Position the kids and bat from the Halloween Scenics Stamp Set over the card front and then pickup with a stamp positioning tool.
  7. Place some scrap paper over the cat and all the bats except for the three largest bats and then ink up the images Pitch Black Ink.
  8. Remove masks and stamp images.
  9. Stamp a sentiment from the September Card Kit in Unicorn Pigment Ink onto Pitch Black cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over and then heat set with a heat tool.
  10. Die cut the sentiment out with the coordinating dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with foam adhesive.
