Our next LIVE Make-Along event is this weekend! Join Channin to make along with the Hero Studio January 2025 Card Kit of the Month. Gather your supplies and create a card with Channin from start to finish.

In addition to the January Card Kit of the Month, the following supplies will be used.

Supplies:

• Cherry Cardstock
• Coral Cardstock
• Peony Cardstock
• Kiwi Cardstock
• Pitch Black Cardstock
• Heavy-weight White Cardstock
• Clear Card Panel
• Peony Core Ink
• Ultra Pink Core Ink
• Forever Green Core Ink
• Unicorn White Pigment Ink
• Detail White Embossing Powder
• Anti-static Powder
• Heat Tool
• Stamp Positioning Tool, ex. MISTI
• Die-cutting Machine
• Paper Trimmer
• Precision Glue
• Foam Tape
• Copic Markers (R59, RV34, R20, R27)

Instructions;

1. Die cut an A2 panel of white cardstock with the cover plate die from the Nesting Hearts Cover Plate Die set (January Card Kit) then die cut with the largest nesting heart die to create a window.
2. Die cut the Cherry cardstock with the largest and 2nd largest nesting heart dies.
3. Die cut the Coral cardstock with the 2nd largest and 3rd largest nesting heart dies.
4. Ink-blended some white cardstock with Peony and Ultra Pink Core Inks to create a colored cardstock that matches the pink clay hearts included In the kit.
5. Die cut the custom cardstock with the 3rd and 4th largest nesting heart dies.
6. Adhere the white panel and all the hearts to a clear card panel (A2 panel of acetate). Set panel aside.
7. Die cut several flowers with the Fancy Dies included in the kit out of the Peony, Coral, Cherry and our custom color cardstock.
8. Color the flower petals with copic markers to add depth.
9. Die cut several leaves out of Kiwi cardstock. Ink-blend over the leaves with Forever Green.
10. Trim Peony cardstock to create an A2 panel (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″). Adhere the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
11. Use foam adhesive to create a well on the card front. Fill with mini clay hearts.
12. Adhere the heart panel with the acetate over the card front, sandwiching the mini clay hearts inside.
13. Adhere all the flower and leaves to the card front with foam adhesive.
14. Stamp a sentiment from the Typewriter Messages stamp set (January Card Kit) in Unicorn White Ink onto Pitch Black cardstock. Pour white embossing powder over and then heat set.
15. Trim the sentiment down to a strip and to the card front with foam adhesive.

Bonus Card: Featuring the January Clear Set + Dies of the Month

Supplies:

• Ultra Pink Core Ink
• Fruit Punch Reactive Ink
• Pine Core Ink
• Moss Core Ink
• Embossing & Watermark Ink
• Gold Embossing Powder
• Anti-static Powder
• Heat Tool
• Stamp Positioning Tool, ex. MISTI
• Die-cutting Machine
• Paper Trimmer
• Precision Glue
• Foam Tape
• Press'n Seal
• Pink Hues Enamel Dots

Instructions;

1. Die cut multiples (approximately 4-5 sets of each) of the flowers and leaves from white cardstock with the coordinating dies from the January Clear Set + Dies of the Month.
2. Create a jig with the same dies and a scrap of heavy-weight cardstock. 
3. Place the jig into stamp-positioning tool then place the diecuts into the openings and then stamp all the diecuts. Stamp the flower in eitherFruit Punch or Ultra Pink and stamp the leaves in either Pine, Moss, and Arctic.
4. Die cut a heart out of white cardstock with the one of the nesting hearts dies from the January Card Kit.
5. Trim down some Peony cardstock to create an A2 panel (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). Adhere it the panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
6. Adhere the heart and all the flowers and leaves to the card front with foam adhesive.
7. Stamp a sentiment from the clear stamp set onto white cardstock in Embossing & Watermark Ink. Pour gold embossing powder over the sentiment then heat set.
8. Die cut sentiment with coordinating die then adhere to the card front with foam adhesive.
9. Add light pink enamel dots to the flower centers.
